Spravato (esketamine) is a prescription nasal spray that is used to treat adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD). Spravato is an FDA approved therapy only when taken in conjunction with an oral antidepressant.

Spravato^®is taken at a Certified Treatment Center

Three Treatment Phases

Induction: Twice a week for the first four weeks

Optimization: Once a week for the following four weeks

Maintenance: Weekly or Bi-weekly Treatments for up to 12 months

Treatment Protocol

Must be taken with an oral antidepressant

Avoid eating 2 hours before, and drinking liquids 30 minutes before treatment

Following administration, you will be observed for 2 hours by your provider

Patient cannot drive from their appointment on treatment days due to side effects, find your ride!

Meet Dr. Ruchira Densert

Dr. Densert is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive training and over 23 years of clinical experience. She provides evidence-based and advanced psychiatric care tailored to individual needs and offers a range of services including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment resistant depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and nasal esketamine (Spravato) for depression as well as traditional psychiatric medication management for various psychiatric conditions.

Dr. Densert aims to achieve optimal results with a deep understanding of individual’s unique story, focusing on the whole person, not just medicating symptoms. To address the root causes, she collaboratively creates a personalized care plan which include nutritional counseling, lifestyle modification, mindfulness and stress management, sleep and exercise.
